Membership Information

Join Us!

The Meadowlark Audubon Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Chapter of the National Audubon Society. Our territory includes the four counties of the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming (Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park, and Washakie).

We welcome new members. Come join us in sharing our interest in birds and the environment, attending field trips, meeting to hear interesting speakers and programs, and participating in educational projects. Many of our members also take part in grassroots advocacy to promote conservation and protect our environment.

Three Christmas Bird Counts are conducted in our area, and many of our members take part in these annual one-day birding events.

Meadowlark Audubon Society publishes The Voice of the Meadowlark, our Chapter's printed newsletter, in addition to the Web version which can be found on the "Newsletters page.

Two Types of Membership are Available:

• Joint membership in both our Chapter and the National Audubon Society. This membership includes a subscription to the award-winning AUDUBON magazine which is published quarterly.

• Chapter-Only membership in Meadowlark Audubon. This membership supports the work of the local Chapter, with your dues remaining in the local Chapter. It does not include the magazine subscription. Renewals are sent to your local Membership Chairman.

Both types of membership include periodic copies of the Chapter's newsletter, The Voice of the Meadowlark, available on our Web site, or by mail for members without Internet access or for those who prefer to receive a printed copy.

Additionally, both types of membership entitle the member to receive e-mail messages from Meadowlark Audubon regarding field trips, meetings, and special events.

YES! I want to join Meadowlark Audubon as a Chapter-Only member for $12, plus $1 per month to next August 31st! The dues are the same for either individual or family membership.
 
Count the number of months left until August 31st and multiply times $1, then add $12 for the following full year. This will pay your membership up for the remainder of this year, plus one full year.
 
Full one-year membership renewals remain at the same low cost of $12.
